Job summary

ViaPath, an innovation leader in correctional technology, education solutions, and government payment services, is seeking a Site Administration Technician 1 to support field service maintenance, inventory and repairs across multiple facilities with inmate tablets and call processing equipment.

Under the Field Service Manager, you will work largely independently, perform daily site visits, document issues, initiate trouble tickets, prepare weekly summaries, and assist with RMAs and basic network

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree a plus
• Minimum of 1 year of related IT/admin experience
• Experience with technology troubleshooting, repairs and/or other relevant technical experience desired
• Proficient in Windows XP/Windows OS, Microsoft Office Software, and ability to learn other software programs
• Must be a self-starter that can work independently and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Ambassador for ViaPath by fostering a positive relationship with the customer and site POC
• Work at the direction of the Field Service Manager responsible for the assigned sites
• Walk the facility and units daily to inspect tablets and initiate trouble tickets
• Meet daily with the facility POC to provide updates and gather feedback
• Manage day-to-day support functions including tablet maintenance and inventory
• Provide weekly summary reports to the Field Service Manager
• Visit dedicated worksite daily or at scheduled dates if more than one site
• Execute trouble resolution guidelines for Tablet Resolution before RMAs
