Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field and no years of experience required; or a high school/GED diploma with 2 years HR experience.
• Experience with HR systems: Workday, ATS, EMS, and related databases for tracking applicants.
• Background checks and DCI checks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform background reviews and pre-employment screening for Correctional Officer applicants.
• Enter applicant data accurately into the ATS database and maintain rosters.
• Generate reports in HR/Payroll systems to verify prior state service.
• Work with applicants to ensure qualified candidates are available for interviews.
• Maintain certification as a DCI Operator and complete recertification as required.

Education
