Job summary

Sum mit West Chester facility is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the Corrections dining program in West Chester, PA. You will manage all aspects of the food service department and ensure meals meet quality and schedule targets.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and manage budgeting and purchasing. Strong communication with staff and executives is essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations are met.
• Budget for the department, including direct ingredient purchasing and forecasting.
• Coordinate with the district manager and other departments on dining service operations.
• Address customer service needs.
