Elior North America, via the Summit brand, seeks a Food Service Director for the Franklin, PA corrections site to lead a team and manage the entire department.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, ensuring culinary, safety, and sanitation standards, budgeting, and coordinating with district management.

Compensation ranges from $57,000 to $59,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and more).

Qualifications

• At least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Manage and lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensuring that staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budgeting for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts.
• Conferring with the district manager or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service.
• Addressing customer service needs.
