Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a part-time Food Service Supervisor for a jail setting in Harnett County, NC. The role focuses on supervising inmate labor and kitchen staff during morning food prep and service, following menus and safety standards.

You will ensure sanitary handling, proper portioning, and adherence to schedules while maintaining a collaborative, flexible work approach in a correctional facility environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Prior institutional food service or facility experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Prepare and assist in preparing quality foods according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure proper storage and sanitary handling of all food.
• Serve meals according to scheduled times and department policies.
• Train other food service workers and maintain a clean kitchen area.
