Job summary

Trinity Services Group in South Carolina is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility. The role includes meal preparation, serving according to menus, and training staff, with shift from 2am to 10am and reporting to a Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals per recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking and standing for long periods.
