Job summary

Trinity Services Group in Wilkes County, NC, is hiring a Food Service Worker for an onsite role inside a jail. You’ll prepare and serve meals, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and follow menus and recipes with attention to sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 21 years of age.
• We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a neat and food safe workstation, including cleaning as you go and trash removal.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, staying organized and clean.
• Stand for extended periods and be able to lift and move as needed.
