Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during shifts.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of quality foods according to recipes and work instructions.
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitary practices.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
