The position reports to a Food Service Director and is based onsite in a correctional facility, with opportunities to grow within the company and a strong focus on teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare and portion food.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Other duties as required by the site.
