Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen setting, train workers, assign tasks, and maintain sanitation per HACCP standards. The role includes coordinating shifts (3AM-11AM and 11AM-7PM) and ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures across production lines.

Responsibilities focus on timely meal service, portion control, recipe administration, and staff training to uphold Aramark standards within a correctional facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production and temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and that Aramark guidelines are met.
• Direct inmates in the use of Aramark recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies and store keys securely.
• Assist in inventory and requisition orders as needed.
