Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train staff, and coordinate meal production in line with production plans. The role focuses on sanitation, safety, and adherence to all company standards and client requirements to ensure efficient operations.

The position offers $17+ per hour with great benefits and opportunities for growth within a structured correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age is required.
• Experience supervising in food prep or related work preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and tray assembly to ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Train staff on duties and coordinate work to optimize operations.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the facility.
• Review production and temperature logs and ensure compliance with Aramark policies.
• Ensure proper portioning and cater to dietary requirements.
• Direct inmates in recipe usage and cooking procedures.
