Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train staff, and coordinate meal production while maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a correctional facility.

The role emphasizes adherence to HACCP policies, adherence to schedules, and ensuring proper portions and dietary requirements are met. Background check is required, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• One year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and maintain logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals.
• Direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Follow security policies and keep storage areas locked.
