Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train staff, and ensure meals are prepared per production plans. The role includes maintaining sanitation, following HACCP policies, and ensuring safety standards in a correctional facility.

Candidates must be comfortable in a correctional environment and pass a background check. Compensation starts at $19+ per hour with great benefits and opportunities for growth across Aramark locations.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production and temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals.
• Prints and distributes recipes.
• Direct inmates in the use of Aramark recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
