Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, ensuring meals meet production plans and safety standards. You will train workers, coordinate tasks, and uphold sanitation and security in a correctional facility.

Leadership and HACCP compliance are essential, with a background in food prep and the ability to obtain a food safety certification preferred. Compensation starts at $18+ per hour with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of food prep or related work.
• Experience supervising or training others is preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and maintain logs for food preparation.
• Supervise inmates in food prep and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Train inmates on recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and accommodate dietary needs.
• Maintain security and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Conduct inventory and assist with ordering and storage.
