Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen and ensure meals follow production plans. You will train workers, coordinate tasks, and uphold sanitation and safety standards in a correctional facility.

The role requires a background check and is paid at $19+ per hour with great benefits; candidates must be comfortable in a correctional environment and be able to obtain required food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines according to Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to guidelines.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
