Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to join our correctional kitchen team in Shelbyville, KY. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include training employees in food service and sanitation, initiating meals on time, and ensuring portion, appearance, and temperature of all items meet quality expectations. We value detail, multitasking, and leadership in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year's culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
• Ensure meal services begin on time and that portions, appearance and temperature meet high standards.
