Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to support designated sections in clinical chemistry and hematology. You will assist the Section Head with quality control, instrument performance, data analysis and regulatory compliance while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a CLS-related degree and ASCP certification, with at least five years of hospital lab experience in troubleshooting, LIS, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences or related field; CLS preferred; ASCP certification.
• Five years clinical laboratory experience with instrument troubleshooting, interface builds, supply chain management and statistical analysis.
• ASCP or equivalent credentials.
• Strong communication, spreadsheet use, problem solving, and ability to interpret complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily QC review, establishes QC ranges for new reagent lots, submits monthly quality data.
• Participates in CAP inspections and acts as lead contact during on-site inspection.
• Performs instrument verification, LIS validation and data reporting.
• Investigates reagent and instrument recalls and customer complaints.
• Attends training and shares information with staff.
