Job summary

Nymbus is a remote-first fintech company delivering core banking implementations to financial institutions. The Core Implementations Consultant leads end-to-end delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments that meet client objectives.

The role requires deep core banking expertise, strong client relationship skills, and experience guiding data migrations, GL setups, and lending workflows toward successful go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing technology or banking implementation projects, including 2+ years focused on core banking conversions.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude, Kiro, or comparable platforms.
• Deep understanding of banking operations, financial systems, accounting, GL, lending processes and core banking technologies.
• Experience with financial institution back-office processes.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with stakeholder management.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced fintech environment with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Core banking implementations, including planning and post-go-live support.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
• Translate client requirements into actionable project plans and manage scope and risk.
• Document processes and maintain audit-ready, compliant solutions.
