Job summary

Romark Logistics is seeking an Area Manager to support our fast-paced 3PL operations, emphasizing safety, training, and staff development. You will work with HR on applicant screening, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to meet productivity and quality goals.

Responsibilities include mentoring, performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with annual training, OSHA, and customer requirements while optimizing staffing and labor utilization.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of managing experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and/or CoPack operations is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and WMS.
• Ability to follow Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety training and ensure proper certifications for MHE operation.
• Interview and onboard new hires; conduct tours and day-in-the-life briefings.
• Coordinate onboarding with HR and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
