Job summary

Mark Anthony Group seeks a Packaging Area Manager to lead packaging operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will develop supervisors and frontline teams, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure KPI achievement across production areas.

In this role you will manage shift operations, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and implement new technologies to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in high-speed manufacturing environment, including successful management of direct reports across all shifts in 24/7 operation
• Lean Methodology including 5S, Centerline, RCA, etc.
• On-call 24 hours to support operations.
• GMP, HACCP, food safety knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Packaging team.
• Drive innovation in packaging through new technologies and process improvements.
• Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate department priorities and align with business goals.
• Ensure safety and quality standards across the packaging team.
• Mentor supervisors and frontline employees; succession planning.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure production plan alignment.
• Oversee day-to-day packaging operations and scheduling.
