Job summary

Mark Anthony Group is seeking a Packaging Area Manager to lead the Packaging Operations Department, ensuring daily tasks meet quality, safety and KPI targets. The role combines frontline leadership with strategic oversight of lean initiatives and continuous improvement across packaging, safety, maintenance, and quality teams.

You will mentor operators and supervisors, drive 24/5/7 scheduling in a fast-paced plant, enforce GMPs and HACCP, and partner with Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in high-speed manufacturing, across all shifts in 24/7 operation.
• Lean Methodology including but not limited to 5S, CIL, Centerline, A3, etc.
• On-call 24 hours to support operations.
• GMP, HAACP, food safety knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of strategic plan for the packaging department.
• Develop autonomous working teams capable of managing packaging operations running on a 24/5 or 24/7 schedule.
• Ensure Safety and Quality are at the forefront of all activities for all Packaging team members.
• Drive the packaging safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Optimize process performance through audits, inventory checks and SOP adherence.
• Plan and coordinate packaging, sanitation, quality and maintenance tasks per MAB standards.
