Job summary

Northern Kentucky University’s School of the Arts seeks a Front of House Coordinator to manage box office operations and usher management for ticketed events at NKU’s Greaves Concert Hall, Corbett Theatre and Stauss Theatre. This is a ten-month, academic year, part-time (20 hours/week) role requiring evening and weekend hours.

The role includes supervising 4–8 work-study students, processing ticket sales, and coordinating audience services.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising employees (preferably student employees).
• Experience with computerized ticketing software (NKU uses VBO).
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Impeccable customer service, time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding and support of NKU and SOTA values.

Position Title:Coordinator, Audience ServicesPosition Type:RegularAbout the Role:The Front of House Coordinator manages box office operations and front-of-house services for ticketed School of the Arts (SOTA) events. This position ensures high-quality customer service, supervises student employees, and coordinates audience services to support successful performances and events.The primary venues for fine arts events at NKU are the 650-seat Greaves Concert Hall, 315-seat Corbett Theatre and 120-seat Stauss Theatre. Evening and weekend hours will be required in accordance with the schedule of performances and other events as appropriate.
