Job summary

Northern Kentucky University’s School of the Arts seeks an in-person Manager, SOTA Events & Operations to lead event planning across Theatre & Dance, Music, and Art & Design. You will coordinate calendars, academic alignment, and on-site management for Corbett Theatre, Greaves Concert Hall, Stauss venues, and the SOTA Galleries, ensuring safe, professional operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or academic arts settings.
• Familiarity with theatre, concert hall, and gallery operations.
• Knowledge of front-of-house management, ticketing systems, and venue scheduling software.
• Supervisory experience of both teams and individuals.
• Understanding of production processes in theatre, dance, music, and visual arts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SOTA’s annual events calendar across Theatre & Dance, Music, and Art & Design.
• Coordinate with program heads, faculty and campus partners to plan event logistics and operations.
• Lead on-site event management for performances, exhibitions, and special programming.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional materials and ensure accurate calendars.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and post-event documentation in line with NKU policies.
• Coordinate with facilities, IT, Parking and Provost offices for scheduling needs.
