Job summary

ICF is seeking an experienced Training and Instructional Design Specialist for Homeless Services and Coordinated Entry System (CES). The role involves developing engaging, instructor-led and online training for CES policies, workflows, and tools, with collaboration from CES leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, adult learning, training and development, human services, public administration, communications, social work or related field.
• Minimum two years directly related experience with Continuum of Care program and HUD Coordinated Entry programs.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, or online training for professional audiences.
• Experience developing curricula, lesson plans, presentations, eLearning content, tutorials, or job aids.
• Knowledge of adult-learning principles, instructional-design practices, facilitation methods, and learner assessment.
• Strong public-speaking, presentation, facilitation, writing, interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Ability to explain technical and policy concepts to diverse learners.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, online, and blended training for Coordinated Entry System (CES).
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and CES users to identify training needs.
• Translate policy and technical information into clear instructional content.
• Design curricula, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and job aids.
• Deliver trainings, coordinate logistics, and manage enrollment and tracking.
• Travel within the CoC geography to deliver training and support CES partners.
