Job summary

ICF Olson in the United States is seeking a Training and Instructional Design Specialist for Homeless Services within the Coordinated Entry System. The role focuses on developing and delivering engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences.

You will translate policy and procedures into clear instructional content, design curricula, and facilitate training across the Continuum of Care. Occasional travel and collaboration with HUD guidance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field.
• Minimum two years directly related experience with Continuum of Care program and HUD Coordinated Entry programs.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, or online training for professional audiences.
• Experience developing curricula, lesson plans, and training materials.
• Knowledge of adult-learning principles and assessment.
• Strong public-speaking, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel across the CoC geography as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended CES training using adult-learning principles.
• Translate complex CES policies into clear, actionable instructional content.
• Design curricula, course outlines, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and job aids.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and CES stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Coordinate training logistics, registrations, and tracking within LMS platforms.
• Travel as needed to deliver training and support CES partners.
