Job summary

Nutritional Wellness Center of SJ is seeking a warm, organized Patient Coordinator / Front Desk Wellness Assistant to be the welcoming face of our Palmyra, NJ practice. Join a health-focused team dedicated to helping patients achieve wellness goals in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

You will greet patients, manage appointments, handle inquiries, collect forms and insurance data, process payments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while supporting daily office operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical/wellness front desk is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Proficient with scheduling software, EMR/EHR, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy office.
• Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, or co-pay collection is a plus.
• HIPAA familiarity and patient confidentiality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare certification is a plus.
