Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Cookie Crew Member in Chicago. You will welcome guests, bake and package warm cookies and treats, and assist with in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders. You will operate the register, maintain cleanliness, and help the team keep the line moving in a fast-paced bakery.

Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts are common, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles. Competitive hourly pay and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make every interaction memorable
• Prepare, bake, and package our warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to Insomnia's quality standards
• Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders
• Operate the register and process guest transactions
• Keep the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe throughout every shift
• Jump in wherever your team needs you, whether that's restocking supplies, helping a teammate, or keeping the line moving
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency, partnering with your Shift Leader when needed
• Deliver the kind of experience that turns first-time guests into lifelong Insomniacs
