Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a friendly Cookie Crew member at our Naperville bakery (22 E Chicago Ave, Suite 109). You’ll be the front-of-store ambassador, greet guests, take orders, and bake our warm cookies.

This flexible part-time role requires availability nights, weekends and holidays. Pay is $15.50 per hour, with paid vacation, sick time, and perks like free cookies and an employee discount. Join a fun, fast-paced team that values mentoring and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role.
• Personable and outgoing demeanor.
• Willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take their orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items, answer clarifying questions, and repeat orders for accuracy.
• Give each customer a warm experience with a smile in person & over the phone.
• Bake our delicious cookies to perfection & a scoop of ice cream.
• Ensure fast, warm, and correct delivery orders are packaged and sent out.
• Handle cash and payments accurately and have no shortages or overages.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the bakery.
