Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Cooker Operator in Rogers, AR to set up and operate cooking machinery, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies. The role covers the full cook cycle from hydrolyzing product to a finished meal, on 2nd shift with potential Saturday work.

Starting pay is $18.25 per hour with a $2 per hour shift differential. Applicants should have at least 6 months of continuous work history in the last two years and be able to meet the physical demands of a loud, hot

Job Details

This position is responsible for setting up and operating machinery used for cooking while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Cooker operator controls the cooking process from hydrolyzing the product to a finished product.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturday work, 2:30 PM - Production end

Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)

Starting pay rate: $18.25/hr + $2/hr shift differential

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Rehire Criteria
