Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Saint Louis, MO. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient service, quality meals, and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires prior culinary experience in a high-volume environment, strong leadership, and a focus on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-cooking environment.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience supervising a team and providing direction to staff.
• Food Handlers certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and that portions, appearance, and temperature meet standards.
