Job summary

SOME (So Others Might Eat) in Washington, DC is seeking a Cook to prepare daily meals for breakfast and lunch and to support meal deliveries to programs. You will help maintain clean, organized kitchen operations and manage inventory and safety standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, Food Handler's License, and 1–3 years of food service experience; Culinary Arts degree and a valid driver's license are preferred. Schedule is Tue–Sat, 6:00 am–2:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED and food handler certification.
• Preferred Culinary Arts Degree; 3+ years institutional food service/restaurant experience.
• Requires ability to operate kitchen equipment and manage food inventory.
• Driver's License preferred for delivery or off-site duties.

Responsibilities
