Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Cook to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. You will prepare meals for lunch and dinner, review menus, and ensure residents receive correct diets.

Responsibilities include producing meals for all diets, reviewing diet trays, and collaborating with health care staff to support proper nutrition. Maintain a clean kitchen and dining room and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for lunch and dinner according to menus and diet orders.
• Review menus and ensure correct diet trays are served; assist with diet changes and production of food service lines.
• Maintain safe food handling practices and keep the kitchen and dining area clean.
