Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Cook to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. You will prepare meals for lunch and dinner, review menus, and ensure residents receive correct diets.

Responsibilities include producing meals for all diets, reviewing diet trays, and collaborating with health care staff to support proper nutrition. Maintain a clean kitchen and dining room and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.

Duties

This position is responsible for preparing meals for lunch, and dinner. Review menus prior to preparation of food, inspect special diet trays to assure correct diet is served to resident, working with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident. Prepare food for all diets accordance with standardized recipes and special diet order, assist in production of food service line, process diet changes and new diets, prepare and serve meals, prepare food for all diets
