Job summary

Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel is seeking a cook to execute all food production under the direction of the Sous Chef. You will adhere to production sheets, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety throughout preparation and service.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1 year of cooking experience or culinary training, and Serve Safe certification. Employment offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year cooking experience and/or culinary degree.
• Serve Safe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Execute all food production as directed by the Sous Chef using production sheets.
• Maintain a clean as-you-go work area and follow proper food handling techniques.
• Prepare proper amounts of food as requested by the Sous Chef.
• Communicate with Stewards on all equipment cleaning needs.
• Maintain Bally’s Casino's food quality and control waste by following standard recipes.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
• Occasionally serve food.
