Job summary

Bally’s in Shreveport, LA is seeking a cook to perform all food production per the Sous Chef’s sheets and recipes. You will maintain high quality, present dishes, and ensure a clean, safe work area in a smoke-friendly casino kitchen environment.

Required 1 year of cooking experience or culinary training, high school or GED, and Serv-Safe certification. Salary is $13.50 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year cooking experience and/or culinary degree required.
• Serve Safe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Execute all food production as directed by the Sous Chef.
• Prepare the proper amounts of food per orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow sanitation practices.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
• Occasionally serve food and assist with cleanup.

Education

High School or better.

Technical/other training or better.
