Job summary

The Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare food with consistent quality and assist in various kitchen functions. This role supports the culinary operation with adherence to recipes, portion controls, and cleanliness standards.

You will start items ahead of time, rotate perishables, and help manage food cost while maintaining equipment and safety.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portions.
• Date and rotate perishables, maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan preparation, and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused food to storage, cover and date perishables.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per standards.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment.
• Comply with attendance and work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
