Job summary

BayCare is seeking a dedicated Cook for South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. This full-time position requires preparing foods per standardized recipes, ensuring safety and quality across prep, service and storage, and assisting with onboarding of new team members.

The role supports a team oriented culture within a large healthcare network and may involve varying shifts, including weekends as part of a 2-on/1-off cycle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years as a Cook or 1 year with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma.
• Preferred: 2 years in Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and production methods, including for special populations.
• Ensure high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage.
• Assist with orienting and training of new team members.
• Performs other duties as necessary.

• Shift:Varies / Weekends included with 2 on 1 off

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of foods according to standardized recipes and production methods including food preparation for special populations, ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage, assists with orienting and training of new team members.

Education

• Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience
