Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Cook I for Winter Haven Hospital, joining Food and Nutrition Services in a PRN capacity. The role handles food preparation per standardized recipes and supports patient meals with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Required: 2 years as a Cook / 1 year with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma.
• Preferred: 2 years in Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to recipes and production methods, including for special populations, ensure quality and safe handling.
• Assist with orienting and training new team members; perform other duties as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of foods according to standardized recipes and production methods including food preparation for special populations, ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage, assists with orienting and training of new team members.

• Performs other duties as necessary.

Education
