The Casino @ Dania Beach is hiring for a kitchen role in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will prepare grill items, operate broilers, ovens, grills and fryers, and ensure food safety and portion control across all lines.

We value strong communication, physical stamina, and reliable time management. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working nights, weekends and holidays in a on-site casino environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 5+ years of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen or equivalent education/certification preferred.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand consecutively for 8 hours.
• Must have strong time management and culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares grill items or batch quantities to cover all food service lines and schedules.
• Prepares a variety of food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment.
• Handles food in accordance with sanitary standards.
• Prepares food for customer as specified in customer meal ticket.
• Knows and follows standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Attractively presents items with garnish and correct portions.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for food handling.
• Operates standard cooking equipment and reports equipment problems promptly.
