Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook I at Holy Cross House to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items across meal periods while following Sodexo’s culinary standards. Work is in a fast-paced kitchen with emphasis on safety and sanitation.

The role involves collaboration with kitchen staff, adherence to recipes, and maintaining quality and efficiency during busy service times. Flexible shifts and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.
