Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook at Sacred Hearts Academy. You will prepare hot and cold items for all meals, follow Sodexo standards, and help ensure safe, efficient kitchen operations. Flexible shifts and a supportive team environment await the right candidate.

Ideal applicants have a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years’ experience, with ability to lift and stand for long periods. Benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to current standards and guidelines.
• Follow recipes and product directions for variety of dishes.
• Estimate food requirements and check production to plan supplies.
• Significant walking or mobility during shifts.
• Stand for extended periods of time, potentially longer than 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time and follow duties as assigned.
