Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant is hiring an Entry Level Cook to support daily kitchen operations across multiple venues. You will learn under seasoned culinary leaders, preparing ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (wash, chop, slice, peel, etc.).
• Cook food using a variety of methods (grill, fry, bake, steam, braise, boil).
• Ensure food is properly seasoned, garnished, and visually appealing.
• Follow standardized recipes and preparation methods.
• Taste food prior to service to ensure quality.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with kitchen setup, service, and cleanup.
• Minimize waste through proper portioning and production levels.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
