Job summary

Baptist Health (Jacksonville) seeks a Full Time Cook I for the Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. The position is an evenings shift from 9:00am to 5:30pm, located downtown.

Ideal candidate should have experience in multiple kitchen areas and be proficient in various cooking techniques for Hospital at Home meals. Responsibilities include measuring, mixing, portioning, cooking per recipes and charts, maintaining clean and sanitary work, logging production activities, and

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for Hospital at Home patients.
• Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies.
• Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Cooling, packing, and labelling food for Hospital at Home meal delivery service.
