Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Downtown in Jacksonville is seeking a PRN Cook to support Bridges Café. This Cook I position works as needed, preparing meals for patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes accurate measuring and cooking per recipes, maintaining sanitary work areas, and completing logs and production charts per policy. High School Diploma preferred; 1 year food service or cooking experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred.
• Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a PRN Cook to our Bridges Café at Baptist Medical Downtown. This is a PRN opportunity. This position will be working as needed.

Cook I Job Responsibilities:

Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff.

Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies

Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements:

Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred

Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma (Prefered)
