Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Full Time Cook I for the Dietary Department at Baptist Downtown. This evening shift 2pm–10:30pm focuses on hospital patient meals, production and kitchen workflow.

Responsibilities include measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking per recipes and charts, maintaining sanitation and logs, and supporting Hospital at Home meal delivery. ServSafe preferred; HS diploma required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to recipes and production charts.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas per policies.
• Filling out logs and production charts as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and Hospital at Home dishes according to recipes and charts.
• Work efficiently to support kitchen operations during evenings.</n>
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
• Assist with packing, labeling and delivery preparation for Hospital at Home meals.
