Job summary

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cook I for a full-time evenings role at Baptist Downtown, Jacksonville, FL. The position requires versatility across kitchen areas, proficiency in various cooking techniques, and ServSafe credentials are a plus.

The job supports Hospital at Home meal delivery and production charts. The ideal candidate has less than 1 year in food service/cooking and a High School Diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for Hospital at Home patients
• Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies
• Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Cooling, packing, and labelling food for Hospital at Home meal delivery service

Baptist Medical Center – Full Time Cook I

This is a Full Time evenings opportunity working 9:00am to 5:30p. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. ServSafe certification is a plus.

As a Cook I, You Will Be Responsible For
