Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time Cook I for the Dietary team at Baptist Nassau. This position is based in Nassau—Main Building—and involves preparing meals for Hospital at Home patients according to recipes and production charts.

You will maintain safe, sanitary kitchen practices, fill logs and schedules, and label and package meals for delivery. A High School Diploma and ServSafe are preferred; 1 year of food service and 3–4 years of cooking experience are also preferred.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Less than 3–4 years cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for Hospital at Home patients.
• Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies.
• Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Cooling, packing, and labelling food for Hospital at Home meal delivery service
• Read recipes, safely utilize knives, braise, sauté, roast, and utilize other cooking skills as needed.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Full-Time Cook I to our Dietary team at Baptist Nassau.

This Full Time Cook I will be located at Baptist Nassau.

As a Cook I, You Will Be Responsible For
