Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a part-time cook to join our food service team at the Wesley Chapel location. You will prepare foods according to standardized recipes and production methods, ensuring high quality and safe handling during preparation, service, and storage.

You will also assist with orienting and training new team members, contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment that delivers compassionate care to our community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years as a Cook; 1 year with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and production methods, including food preparation for special populations.
• Assists with orienting and training of new team members. Also performs other duties as necessary.

• Shift: Varies / Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of foods according to standardized recipes and production methods including food preparation for special populations, ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage, assists with orienting and training of new team members.
• Performs other duties as necessary.

Education

Required

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Required

• 2 years as a Cook / 1 year with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma

Preferred

• 2 years in Healthcare
