Job summary

Vivie is hiring a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a caring dining environment. You will help ensure safety, dietary accommodations, and a welcoming mealtime experience through attention to detail and teamwork.

The role supports a full-time schedule with weekend and holiday rotation, offering benefits, PTO, and opportunities for professional development within a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Healthcare, hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Food safety knowledge preferred; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & Serve Meals - Ensure quality, taste, and nutrition for residents.
• Follow Guidelines - Maintain food safety and clean, organized kitchen spaces.
• Dietary Needs - Accommodate allergen-free and modified meals as needed.
• Manage Inventory - Track food and supplies to ensure availability.
• Other Duties as Assigned - Duties may include additional tasks as needed.

Schedule: Full-Time | 80 hours/pay period | 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. | includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Pay Range: $19/hour to $25/hour (hourly non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Cook, You Will
