Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience while honoring dietary needs. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to a positive mealtime atmosphere.

You will work in a fast-paced healthcare/assisted-living setting, following food safety guidelines, managing inventory, and collaborating with a supportive team. The role offers hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
• Food safety knowledge preferred; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to ensure communication with residents, staff, and visitors.

Pay Range: $19-$25/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
